Vineet Kumar Singh says, ‘I will take this film of mine till my last fan. I want more and more people to see this film so that they can raise their voices against incidents like rape. If people see such incidents by connecting themselves, then they will understand what goes on in such a family.
Rape incidents keep happening every day. Most people keep silent on this issue for fear of slander. Even if someone complains about it, people don’t help him. vineet kumar singh says, ‘I also have two sisters, when someone used to say something to her, I used to get very angry. That’s why I can understand what happens to the families of rape victims. I always try to do such a film, which can send some message to society.
Director Manish Mundra says, “Siya is a story of resilience and patience.” It also deals with the hypocrisy behind crimes against women. This is such an important story at a time when these atrocities continue to rise around the world. I hope that Siya will encourage the audiences to understand and support the relevance of the film.
Pooja Pandey says, “This is the role of a lifetime. It has challenged me in every aspect as an artist. The victims have been through a lot and I had to make sure that the character reflects the roller coaster of emotions. What goes through a woman’s emotions. mind when something horrible happens to her. I hope I did justice to my character and that audiences definitely find themselves connecting.”
Produced by Drishyam Films, Siya is directed by Manish Mundra, the film will release in theaters on September 16, 2022.
