Overview : Its a horror comedy movie with fresh story , that holds its own ground
.Storyline : The story starts with Two strangers Ruhaan Randawa ( Kartik Aryan ) and Reet Thakur ( Kiara Advani ) meet at a hill station enroute to their respective home, they both instantly click and Ruha an ask Reet to miss the bus and they both go for a dance party , when they reach the bus station to catch another bus , they came to know that previous bus that they were supposed to board has met with accident and all passengers were dead, reet get horrified that her family members must be really upset , she calls her home but due to network issue she accidentally hears that her sister was in love with her financee , she us devasted with this news , reet convinces ruhaan to accompany her to rajasthan and they end up at the abandoned haveli where Manjulika’s spirit is believed to be held captive for 18 years. Reet tells Ruhaan to reveal to her family that he can talk to Reet’s spirit , and that she wants her sister married ..In no matter of time Ruhaan turns in Rooh Baba who can talk to ghosts and dead spirits , he becomes famous in whole village as rooh baba , so much so that he accidentally unleashes the spirit that’s been locked in haveli for 18 years , what happens next when manjulika’s spirit is unleashed , Will Manjulika take her revenge? Will Rooh Baba handle the situation with his herioc acts forms the rest of the story
.Technical Review : Director Anees Bazmee who has given us comedy movies like no entry , welcome etc , has given double dose of thrill and chills along with good and clean comedy scenes..The vfx by red chillies entertainment is good .While there is nothing common in this sequel of bhool bhulaiya except for manjulika , but the constant repetition of the song Ami Je Tomar takes us back to the bhool bhulaiya 2009 and then again comparing starts , but director anees bazmee has given us a fresh story.Performances . Kartik Aryan as Ruhaan has played his character which is funny and uncanny ..He gets ample space to perform as an actor complete with dance , funny acts and uncanny timings ..Kiara Advani is cute and she has done a good job as cute girl ..The best part is played by Tabu , in the second half she gets lots if screen space and story revolves around her only..With open hair and big kohl eyes she has done a fantastic job as manjulika the ghost and her sibling anjulika too , yes she has a double role ..Others are good as per their role.
Final Words : Bhool Bhulaiya 2 doesn’t bore you , it has no dull moments ..Its a family entertainer , a good weekend watch , leave all logic behind and watch this movie in a theatre near you.
