Overview : The film deals with multliple issues related to save the girl child .

Storyline :The story is set in the small village of gujrat called Pravingarh..wherein  timid Jayesh (Ranveer Singh ), stays with his family , parents and his wife Mudra played by Shalini Pandey ,and his first daughter .His father played by Boman Irani  is the sarpanch of the village and follows the notion that he needs a kuldeepak for his family ..Jayesh and Mudra go through six abortion after the first child as they all turned out to be a girl ..Now Mudra again is pregnant for the 7th time and that too with a girl child , jayesh feels guilty about 6 abortion’s before and now he takes strings in his hand and determines that he will protect his wife and the child ..He decides to take charge of his life …He tries to figure out a way to run from the village , he researches and comes yo know that there is a village in haryana that has no ladies , he decides to travel  with his pregnant t wife , daughter  to haryana , Jayeshbhai turns a hero that nobody expected him to be. And then follows an interesting journey filled with comedy, action, drama and tons of emotions.

Technically : Debutant Director Divyang Thakkar has very well directed the movie , though he has tried to throw light on save the girl child , but the movie also deals with patriachy system that still prevails in villages of India especially  in gujrat , director has touched those issues like ladies are only treated as to give kuldeepak ,but actual romance and love between husband and wife is missing ,their bond is missing.Though the director should have explored more on such issues 

Performances: Ranveer Singh as jayesh bhai jordaar has given a jordaar Performance..He is totally in the character ..Pain , fun and emotions all he has displayed perfectly , his accent as gujrati  chokro is cool..

Shalini is solid and makes an excellent start. She plays a crucial role, the wife who allows her husband to believe in himself: he only dares to dream because she dares him to. Their chemistry is pretty natural.

Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah are good as per their role ..Special mention to Jia Vaidya who plays ranveer’s first daughter she is very confident and talented…She will bring smile on your face ..

Final Words : Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a masala film full of emotions and drama , and its fast paced , it can be a good weekend watch.
