Review of Movie 83-A hearty nostalgic movie

Overview : Kabir Khan’s ‘83’ depicts the journey of  team india  that not only brought home the world cup but also respect for indian cricket team , thereby restoring faith of indians in their cricket team 

Storyline : ,The film as mentioned is not a biopic of kapil dev but it is a journey of whole indian cricket team lead by captain kapil dev , In 1983 the underdogs go to england to compete in world cup , but the own cricket board believe that cricket team will not win so much so that they book return ticket much before the semi finals…The team along with manager reach england …Reaching there Kapil Dev feels that the team has not only win the match but also get their respect back.In a twist , they win two intial matches turning the tables around  , and hopes of all indian across the globe.

Technical Review : Director Kabir Khan has very well directed the movie…He has hit the nerves of cricket crazy indians to keep them glued to their seats ..He has managed to bring stadium onto the screen creating that magic on audience.  Also he has well amalgamted real footages of cricket world cup with the reel footages.

Performances : Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev has given the best performance of his life..Replicating kapil dev is a  task that is very difficult given his unique style and personality..Deepika as kapil ‘s wife had nothing much to do..All other players of the team were excellent as per their role ..A special mention of Pankaj Tiwari as team manager has given great performance totally entertaining. 

Final Words : 83 is a brilliant film that will give all of you a nostalgic moment ..And todays generation will get knowledge about how history was created of winning the world cup.

A must watch for all in a theatre near you.
