We had an opportunity to interview this dynamic personality below is the excerpts from the interview.
Qs :Can You Tell something about yourself
Ans : I Am Dr Devangi Dalal Practising Audiologist And Speech Therapist ..I am also Humatarian Awardee from American OFrganisation Of Audiology , And I am also associated with Cghs and Who..I have been practicing for 30 years , My specialty is working with hearing impaired children.
Qs :How did this thought came to you of opening this Hearing Hearts Clinic As this sort of clinic are very few .
Ans : Especially during this pandemic when I was taking online therapy and video therapy with hearing disabled children , they were finding it very difficult to cope up , even parents didn’t knew what they have to do with the child Even normal children with stammering problems were not able to cope with the pandemic, O started writing articles on spreading positivity during pandemic , lots of phone calls regarding this then I realised that people need a right direction ,they need some place where they can get solutions to their problem…So I decided to open up this clinic that gives solution to all your problems whether you have hearing problem , speech issue , communication problem or general health issue.At Hearing Hearts we have a bouquet of Doctors , Audilogist , Speech Therapist , Psychologist, Remedial Educational Teacher , Dietitian,Physiotherapist , Occupation Hazards, Our team will work for all individuals right from kids to senior citizens , we will certainly help them to find the best solution to their problems.
Qs : During this pandemic the youth or youngsters who were working from home were not able to cope with the situation , many lost their jobs and many had to put in lots of hours , they were very stressed out …mentally , How will you able to guide them
Ans : Yes I will be able to guide them in the right direction as I have worked with disabled children whose life from beginning is a challenge , I guide them how to mentally cope with their disability, this concept will help todays youth to cope with Occupational Hazards affecting them mentally..Being 30 years in practice I too faced challenges so I and my team will be able to guide them to overcome their difficulties.
Qs : Many youngsters shy away from taking any therapy , even their parents dont encourage taking a therapy , how will you be able to guide them that they need therapy.
Ans : Today I had a desire to make something , I had a family support , my clients encouraged me to start this clinic ,This way every person has somebody to listen to ..Hearing Heart is a concept wherein we listen to the heart ,listen through the heart …Any person coming with any problem , I will see to it that I and team members help them to cope with it , ofcourse 30 years in practice we also have faced challenges, seeing our challenges how we coped with it I think we will be able to help them cope with theirs ..With this confidence and Positivity that we have started this clinic.
Qs : How economical and affordable will be your clinic in these challenging times ;
Ans : I have been working with disabled people , we run a foundation too wherein people who cannot afford will be helped ,Here are Hearing Hearts we are not into making profits financially but more into helping people to cope with their problems and thriving them into right direction
Qs : With What Aim Did You Launched this clinic?
Ans : I have worked with lots of International organisation , they always say how much work is done in India ..But I think here in India we have all the a latest f technology which we follow but here in India ..being a spiritual person ..being an Indian , people are lots of connected with each other..try to help each other, My aim is to put India at a very different level Internationally…Through Hearing Hearts I want to help people to over overcome their issues so they can perform better and Make India at par with International Professionally
Qs .Celebrities too face voice and speech issue , will they also be able to benefit from your clinic
Ans : Yes Ofcourse , we have Dr C Software where we analyze the voice and Speech and we guide people who are professional voice users to maintain their voice because you have a good voice but to maintain the voice is also equally important our clinic will support them , so any professional voice users whether they are singers, actors if they need any voice maintenance guidance and apart from that any diction guidance when they act we will be able to guide tthem.
We also guide people with psychological issues too, today people are health conscious but we need to balance our physical and mental issues too.and be both physicallyand mentally fit to be able to run .in todays fast paced time
Qs : What has the pandemic taught us , it has definitely taught everyone some way or there , what is your opinion?
Ans : The Pandemic has taught us twe need o be a better Human Being.
Ofcourse God has given us creation but we are not utilising it properly..We have to prove our existence on earth ,in whatever way we can help the society we should help to make this earth a better place to live..and serve humanity
