But actually they are from Mi6 and CIA they somehow convince him to go to Russia and conduct trade by ,telling him that he’d be doing his country a great service; the movie’s single finest moment is their dead silence in response—just twin steely stares—followed by Wynne’s equally silent realization of what’s being asked of him.
He finally realizes from both of them that A Russian intelligence officer, Oleg Penkovsky (Merab Ninidze), has established contact, seeking to reveal nuclear secrets in an effort to prevent a potential war, and MI6 needs a regular means of communicating with him—somebody with no connection to any government. And he was perfect candidate

He goes on with their plan and connects with Oleg , Wynn and Oleg Penkovsky form a partnership to secretly provide information that winds up defusing the Cuban Missile Crisis, this mission runs smoothly until they get caught by russian govtbut will they succeed in their mission is for the audience to watch..
Technical Review : Though hollywood has given lots of spy drama but this spy drama though a good one but lacks the thrill but on the humanity level it is good movie..
The Courier isn’t consistently engrossing, but it maintains a steady level of drama, and it’s superbly supported by lead performances from Cumberbatch and Ninidze
