Overview : The film is based on Fred Roger’s who in the late nineties hosted U.S.A famous children TV Show Mr Roger’
Storyline: The story begins with the Mr Rogers’s TV Show featuring song A beautiful day in the neighborhood…followed by He narrating stories of people that he have met with memorable moments.
One such person is Jounalist Lloyd who works for Esquire magazine..He is given an assignment to Interview Mr Roger’s as the issue will be featuring Hereos who have brought about changes in society.
Lloyd is a cynical guy with loads of anger bolted inside him. He is skeptical about this interview but the editor pushes him that he has to do this interview..He sets up meeting with Mr Roger’s, he is a cool and calm guy .When Roger’s meet Llyod he immediately realizes that lloyd is carrying a baggage of anger and frustration..So instead of him interviewing him Mr Rogers starts interviewing him …how llyods life changes forms the rest of the story.
Script Analysis & Director Review : The script is beautiful and the movie is very well directed ..Each frame is designed practically.Director has given us lessons to suppress anger and forgive and move on instead of carrying a baggage of anger and frustrations
Performances : Tom Hanks as Fred Roger has brought about magic on screen…He is so serene and calm and has done a fantastic job
Final words : A much needed movie in today’s time
