Review of Movie The Extraordinary Journey of a fakir

Overview : Our Very Own South Super Star Dhanush makes his debut in an Hollywood movie.

Storyline : After his mother’s death, a young fakir from the streets of Mumbai, carrying a fake passport AJATASHATRU or ‘AJA’ (“Dhanush”), leaves India for France to track down the father he never knew. From the moment he arrives in Paris, nothing goes as planned. Aja falls in love with a young American woman (“Erin Moriarty”) with a relationship crisis with regards to her past .He meets her at furniture mall. Instantly he falls in love with her and tells her that he will meet her next day at the Eiffel Tower.
As . Aja has no place to sleep so he sleeps in a closet at the furniture mall but lo he , wakes up in a truck full of Somalian Refugees (“Barkhad Abdi”) who are headed for England, As they reach England they are held as hostages in a bureaucratic war, After many days Aja manages to escape in the cargo of airport , he hides in a luggage box of a famous actress and lands in Italy .When he is face to face with movie star . The actress is fascinated by him as he had written his story on a short according to the actress he is a great artist and writer. They make a deal she sells his story for a big fat amount he in return sorts out the love life of a Movie Star (“Berenice Bejo”),
He leaves from there a rich man but will he be able to reach Eiffel Tower or yet another adventure awaits him is for the audience to watch.
Script Anaylsis And Director Review : The script is quiet good and hilarious .It is totally fast paced and will keep you glued to your seats. The Director has very well directed the movie .

Performances: Dhanush as Aja has done a brilliant job . His expressions are in sync with the adventure . He gets shot at by a hitman in a Roman palace, travels by private jet, merchant ship and hot-air balloon, and becomes a rich man for the span of a few hours. As Aja finds himself helplessly shipped from Folkestone to Barcelona, and from Rome to Tripoli, what was initially supposed to be a simple visit to Paris to discover his father’s identity turns into a veritable odyssey.

Final Word : Its fun and adventurous movie which you will enjoy with family
