Overview : The Movie is a fun ride that reinstates the fact that when it comes to love age doesn’t matter.
Storyline : The Story Revolves Around Ashish(Ajay Devgan) who is 50 years old staying in London. Through common friends he meets Ayesha ( Rakul Preet Singh) who is half his age. Ayesha first flirts with him and later falls in love with him. Ashish tells her that he is married with two children but separated from his wife.He plans to take Ayesha to India to meet up with his family.They reach India Ayesha is shocked to see that Ashish has a daughter and son her age. Obviously they are not welcomed. His wife Manju (Tabu) informs him that the groom to be of their daughter along with parents will be cmg to meet them . Ashish is offended that he is not informed regarding this. His daughter is equally offended with him and tells him that she has told the boy and his family that her father is no more. Ashish is embarrassed and that’s why he introduces Ayesha as his secretary . From there on a roller coaster ride of challenges and competitions between Manju and Ayesha and Ashish and Manju’s Neighbour (Jimmy Shergill). Will he be able to tell his family the truth. What will be Manju’s reaction is for the audience to watch.
Script Analysis & Director Review : The script is lousy. The Director has tried to present that India’s mentality is changing and what used to happen before is being replaced with modern thoughts. But has the mentality of people really changed.Has Live In Relationships , Huge Age Difference Marriages really accepted in society. The Director tries to bring in all this new concept
Music is good of the movie. Cinematography is very good though the screenplay is poor.
All the action is in the 2nd half of the movie.
Performances : Ajay Devgan has played his age though his expressions are mostly static in the whole movie.Rakul Preet Singh is pretty. Tabu has done a very good job. Playing the most wise person among all to perfection.
Final Word : Its an entertaining movie .Can watch one time.
