The Occasion was Launch of Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan As Rj for her show Dhun Badal Me Toh Dekh on 92.7 Big Fm.

Vidya For the first time performed a rap number on stage for the media and guest present at the event. Talking about what her show will be about

She said that in her show she will be talking about many issues including sexism and body shaming. She will not give any advice or solution but will try her best to change the listeners perspective towards the issue

When the media asked her about, If being an actress in Bollywood and her success whether helped her to make the journey easier or the pertaining sexism was still an obstacle, Vidya Balan told the media here, “I think sexism does exist not only in the film industry but in our society across the globe.”
“I would say that now, I have put myself in a position where it does not affect me. Of course, it has taken a lot, and I completely empathize with people who face that. But I probably insulated myself from all these, but I cannot deny that sexism exists,” she said.

As she mentioned during the launch of the show that body shaming will be one of the topics, sharing how she personally connects with the subject, Balan said: “In my early days, even before I entered the film industry, people said various discouraging things about me, they called me “moti” and I faced body shaming.”
“It really affects our confidence,” she said.
Apart from that when Vidya was asked regarding current scenario where Artist from across the border are banned to work here. She said that she believes that art has no boundaries but after current attacks I think its high time we need to stop it
