Overview : Film portrays relationship between a single mother and her son in a unique way

StoryLine : The story revolves around Eela who is an aspiring singer awaiting a break in music industry .Her boyfriend helps her in this .She even gets a break but due to some unfortunate circumstances the project could not complete. She decides to get married to her boyfriend . From thereon she forgets about her career and concentrates on her husband and child . She was content with her suddenly one day her husband receives a telegram saying that his cousin has expired .Her husband has this notion that all male members in his family have expired before the age of 40. He decides to leave his home ,wife son and mother . Eela is shattered but putting up a brave front she takes the responsibility of raising her child as a single mother.The Boy is grown up and goes to college .But amidst all this Eala  becomes a very protective and possessive mother.She follows him everywhere .Listens to his private conversation so much so that she takes admission as a student in his class.Vivan (Riddi Sen) one day takes a stand when she crosses her limit.Vivan goes away from home and gives ultimatum to his mother to stop following him and live her own life .What happens after that is for the audience to watch

Script Analysis And Director Review: The script could have been better in the first half .There are many loose ends in first half.Second half is good.Director Pradeep Sarkar tries to give a message that Women in becoming good daughter, wife and mother somewhere along the line lose their own identity and once the children are grown up they face loneliness especially single mothers.The film urges women to pursue whatever their heart desires.

Performances :Kajol is very chirpy and bubbly as we have seen her always .But if she could mellow down a bit would have been great

Riddi Sen is the best.He has given a wonderful Performance of a teenager .His expressions and body language are perfect.He is the lifeline of the movie.

Neha Dhupia has a small role of Drama Teacher who is always angry and throws things on candidates who do not fit her bill .

Final Words : It is an entertaining movie that can be watched at least once
