Overview : It shows the battle of Indian Immigrant with the U.S Immigration System

Story Line : The story revolves around 3 roomies , Vivek Pandit (Ali Fazal ), Lakshmi (Omi Vaidya) and Amit(Amitosh Nagpal) who dream of making it big in U.S.A, Vivek does not like working as a drone in a tech company , but want to innovate new technology but he is care less in getting all his papers in order . Laxmi does not mind being a drone as long as he gets his green card as he does not want to go back to India due to his sexual orientation , he is gay and he realises that he cannot go back to India as his parents would not accept his sexual orientation . Amit is an enthusiastic India who is fascinated by U.S Lifestyle .

Shweta (Melanie Kannokada) is the American born daughter of Vishwanath Prabhu (Rajit Kapur), a tech billionaire who wants to start a movement that encourages Indian youth to back and start new businesses in India.

The film is based on the time when U.S .A Tech Companies were facing financial crash and most tech companies could afford to sponsor for Indian Immigrants to get green card . Then, workers from countries such as India or China find it hard to get in the list of green card hopefuls and face a longer waiting period

These 3 roomies come under the radar of U.S.A FBI for illegaly giving shelter to an illegal immigrant who happen to be Amit’s sort of friend . Because of this watch list Vivek is not getting job in any tech company , on the other hand his visa is also on the verge of expiry . He meets Shweta at a club and he somewhat starts falling for her but Shweta is not ready for it . All in all his life is in a mess.

Will he be able to decide what he will do whether he will get an job in U.S.A or will he have to return back is for the audience to watch.

Script Analysis And Director Review : The Script has the heart in right place as this issue is still relevant in U.S.A as Indians still are living in a state of uncertainity . As Immigration laws are still prevailing but the soul of the script is missing somewhat as the characters are stereo types a confused techie , a gay person unable to reveal his sexuality in open and a loud guy who is more interested in curves then career

Performances : Ali Fazal has given a very under stated performance , Omi Vaidya is still stuck in his character of 3 idiots , Amitosh Nagpal is over the top

Final Word : Can watch it once if you want to see San Fransico Lifestyle
