Review of Movie Race 3

Overview : Race 3 is nothing near to Race and Race 2.

 

StoryLine : The story revolves around a dysfunctional family headed by Shamsher Singh (Anil Kapoor), The Family consist of Shamsher Singh’s Step son Sikander (Salman Khan), and and his real Children Who are Twins ,Sanjana (Daisy Shah) and Suraj (Saqib Saleem) .But they have conflicts among themselves.

 

Yash(Bobby Deol) is introduced as Sikander’s bodyguard and Jessica (Jacqueline Fernandez) as his girlfriend. Somewhere down the line they swap their position. One angle is Sikander’s mother’s property which as per her will 50% belongs to Sikander and other 50%goes to both Sanjana and Suraj.Obviously they both are not happy that 50%i has gone to Sikander and they both HV rest 25% each. Add to this another angle of Political scam runs parallel of which Shamsher takes a deal. There are twist and turns , plots and subplots , there are twist in family relations too. What are these twist and how two plots get connected is for the audience to watch

 

Script Analysis And Director Review : There us no story at all. Race and Race 2had solid story base but Race 3 is Baseless. Though there is high octane action with technology at its best . Big and Best Cars Collide in the movie Rohit Shetty style but script fails to impress. Remo D’Souza the Director though has adopted the formula of Race 1 and 2 of good looking cars and action sequences but he forgot to add story to the movie. Though the movie is shot very stylishly with fantastic locations , good Infrastructure cities , Missiles and guns and all but no story to hang on .There are shirtless fighting sequence between Bobby Deol and Salman Khan but they are bland without any connect .

Performances :Salman Khan looks very disinterested in the movie. His expressions are such that he is doing the role without any interest though he has done good actions but he seems lost in the movie and he tries very hard to dance

Bobby Deol is good but he has to mellow down his act .Saqib Saleem is unwanted in the movie.Both Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez both look hot and also share action sequences but their role is too dragged .

 

Anil Kapoor who started off the movie looked powerful but he somewhere down the script he also gets lost .

The Music is ok though the background score by Salim Sulaiman is very overpowering

Final Words :Race 3 is nowhere close to the thrill of Race 1 and 2 .All the thrill had left along with Abbas Mastan only sluggish cinema us left. Watch it only if you are Salman Khan loyal fan .
