Sunmeet Kaur the first lady winner of KBC turns producer 

Almost everyone has a different perspective for religion and Sardarji’s are known for being humorous and party animals. Manmeet Singh is here to change that perspective and raise a voice to show the other side of being a Sardar in a new music video called ‘Asli Sardarji’. The music video is co-produced by the first ever lady winner of KBC and who along with her husband Amarjeet Singh Chawla And Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney

Manmeet has been in the film industry for 18 years and is a popular face in TV commercials has been doing project s with Ek Onkar TV which spreads social messages with a touch of humour in it through their short films. With an idea in his mind, Manmeet thought why not show the world what real Sardarjis are like.

In conversation with Manmeetji, he mentions,” Guru Nanakji says,true meaning of Sikhism is simple living and high thinking. I want to show the world, a Sardarji will never put his head down, we are hardworking and help each other; you will never see a sardar beggar. We find simplicity in not cutting our hair at any cost and stand strong to our values by not consuming alcohol.” He adds,” One night I sat down and put these thoughts in the form of lyrics and everybody thought that this song needs to be released among people.”

Manmeet along with writing the lyrics tried his hand in singing professionally for this music video. He has already set out to make his team, which consists of Amritpal Singh Billa, Atvinder Singh and the other Punjabi models who will showcase modern Sardarjis.
