Overview : Too Many Issues  Complied in one movie with Main Issue Sidelined

 

Story Line : The Story revolves around a Normal Working Couple Living in Mumbai  Karan Mehra (Sumeet Vyas) and Sahana Mehra (Kalki Koechlin), Wherein Sahana Is working in a corporate sector and Karan in Real Estate . As  any couple  they are not in a hurry for a child but lo destiny played its part and Sahana gets pregnant , she tells Karan that she is not prepared for motherhood but  Karan is persistent  to go ahead . Sahana goes through some complications in pregnancy , karan supports her all through . Then  follows welcoming baby in home thereon  they face many issues like maid issues and both of them try to cope up with new life , even Sahana is demoted in office , . All these are shown in first half . In Second half they face new twist and turns  , the actual story  begins in second half when they come to know that their  daughter is sexually abused by School Bus Staff , what happens next , what they go through etc is for the audience to watch .

Script Analysis And Director Review : The  Script is weak  and lags at many points , there are many unwanted scences and the main point is just touched upon. The Director debuts  with this movie , she has tried to put up many issues in one movie without focusing on themain issue that is child abuse which needs to be explored more and she has left the film  with a question mark . Its an incomplete film as it touches many issues without solving and focusing on one main issue

 

Performances : Kalki has done a fantastic job . She has played her part to perfection but unfortunately the script  plays the villain her even Sumeet has done a very good job with his expressions and body language  insync perfectly

Final Words :Finally Ribbon Highlights  That lots of bad is happening around us be it corporate sector or schools or maids etc . It also portrays how difficult it becomes to manage a  new born child with both parents working and no one to look after the child  which is very common in Urban Cities.
