Overview : It’s s remake of Hollywood Flick Chef but with a twist
Storyline : The film showcases the journey of Roshan Kalra who is a 3 times Michelin Chef in a fine dine restaurant in New York , but he is going through a mid life crisis. He is divorced and his ex wife and son are in Cochin. His mid life crisis affects his performance as chef and this is realised by him when a customer complains about his bad tasting food. He is outraged and he punches the customer.resulting him getting fired. He then realised his frustrations and he decided to go to India to spend some time with his son. On reaching India he realises that everything has changed. His ex wife has moved on . She and her friend (Milind Soman) are on the verge of taking their relationship to the next level. Even his son is friendly with him. All this makes him vulnerable and realise that he has Missed out on the growing years of his son. He decides to revamp his life , in his quest of becoming a finest chef he has Missed out being a good husband and good father. His ex wife helps him and get him a truck from her friend and ask him to set up a food truck .Will he be successful in his new venture and would he be able to reconcile his relationship is for the audience to watch.
Script Analysis And Director Analysis :The script is good .Director Raja Menon has showcased inglorious mid-life crisis, identity struggle, fractured marital relationship and single parents’ woes with impeccable grace . Raja Krishna Menon’s slice-of-life drama is showcased fantastically.

Performances : Saif Ali Khan as Roshan Kalra has given a brilliant performance. He has showcased mid life crisis , his vulnerable moments very beautifully. As far as the food dishes , are concerned chef’s creation of rotzaa combination of roti and pizza will make your mouth water and he makes yummy pasta in a zippy will make u to order one right away.Padmashri As Saif’s wife is very good . Chemistry between Saif and Padmapriya is good. Svar as Kalra’s son has also played his role is good
Final Words: It is a good watch this weekend .It gives a moral that family is equally important as career or business.
