Storyline : The Story Revolves round Bitti     (Kriti Sanon ) , who is from Bareilly , She is working at Electricity Dept . Being the only daughter of Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa , She is raised like a son , so much so that she drinks and smokes and roam around . Her parents are worried about her marriage as she has been rejected by boys many times due to her lifestyle . One day due to her mother’s nagging she tries to elope from her home , at the station by chance she gets hold of a book named Bareilly ki Barfi , after reading that book she changes her mind and returns home .

She is determind to meet the author of the book , as she thinks that he is the only person who understands her as the book is a reflection of her own life . She approaches the Printer of the Book Chirag Dubey (Ayushmann Khurana) , and request him to set up meeting with the author Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkumar Rao ) , as his name and photo is printed on the book , but Chirag gets attracted to her and compares Bitti with his ex girlfriend Bubbly , He fabricates a story that Pritam’s whereabouts is unknown , he used to stay in Bareilly but currently not there . What is the mystery behind Chirag’s Story and what is his connection with the book . Will Bitti be able to meet Vidrohi is for the audience to watch.

Script Analysis And Director Review : Bareilly ki Barfi is inspired from a French Novel titled “Ingredients Of Love “ , The Films writer has changed the setting from france to bareilly . Inspite of the film has managed to make its own identity . The Script is simple but the main culprit is loose editing and films lags especially in first half . Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari who has given us movie like nil battey sannata , has a forte of presenting the movie beautifully in small town . She has very well directed the movie in a good sequence .

Performances : Kriti Sanon has done a fantastic job playing the character of Bitti to perfecto , she has manged to reach tha skin of the character , though her last film raabta did not do well at the box office but with this movie she will rise to feature in the line of A lister actress .

Ayushmann Khurana has mostly played a role of a romantic hero till date , with mostly sacrificing touch but in this film he has played a different role . But his accent is more of an urban play than rural .

Rajkumar Rao is the show stealer in the movie . He has given a brilliant performance . He is one actor who gives the best natural performance , a perfect blend of soft and tough character blended to perfection

Seema Pahwa and Pankaj Tripathi as Bitti’s Parents are cute and hilarious as per their role .

 

Final Word : The film is simple in its content but not boring at all , it makes a fun once watch with family this weekend,
